    When I was a kid I shined shoes in a Cobblers Shop on weekends!!! I delivered ice and range oil to the tenements in Roxbury Mass. The Ragman, Peddlers and Milkman!!!
    All lost arts today!!!

      Love it,..there was a cobbler shop a few doors down from where I lived as a boy.. every winter I would bring my ice skates to be sharppen for the season .. and when the old man bought new shoes we had go to the cobbler to have taps on the heals... I hated them,.. about two days would go by then I would rip them off...lol...nice post, great flash back for me...
