Any idea where these were taken?

I picked up a stack of these photos depicting life in this small town. No identifying marks, except a few street signs and a "Collins Ague Cure" sign on a post. A couple show trees draped in Spanish moss and a couple African American children, so I'm thinking these are from the South? Any ideas?
