cast iron door stop??? Welcome to CW There are great people here that will give you a Heads Up
on your find!!
Yes i belive it is
Please post more pictures. Especially the back side where the screws are and the bottom to include the bottoms of the feet.
Not sure where screws are ?
Shouldn't be any screws??? I'm the only one with a screw loose!!! Great Piece!!!
I may be wrong !! Neck and backside??
fhrjr2 was right!! I believe I see a couple of images of screws in the backside!!
repros for the most part don't fit together so tightly so I think your dog is the real thing!!
I got it for a dollar what do you think the value is ?
Look on ebay or other sites!!! That buck was well spent!! Good Luck!!
Maybe a Hubley Bulldog?? so look there. but I'm no expert on that. Good Luck.
and again welcome to CW!!
This isn't a Hubley or a National. I would think it to be a reproduction. The paint is wrong as are the screw locations. This may have been made from a Hubley mold after Hubley sold their molds. I sooner think it is quite possibly a kit doorstop. None the less it is fairly old and has a good fit. The Hubley would be Item #331 and the National would be #149. You can research them for originals and see the differences I speak of.
Thank you wonderfull información
He's adorable, nice find
