Hello, found this at a sale today and I really can not find out much about this old sign . It appears well made and an embossed image of a very early mickey Mouse. It appears to be able to attach to a stand possibly for comic books. I would really love to know if there is anyone to tell me what this may be for. From what I can tell could be from the 40s Era ,? thanks for looking

Looking at the clothing and shape of the nose I would guess this is from when he was called Steamboat Willie.

That could be , I also thought perhaps it was made for a cartoon movie advertisement . thanks
