Looking for validation on this item. I bought it online, didn't pay much, not worried as much about value as legitimacy. Is it actually almost 100 years old? Anyone have matching pieces? Adding photos of bottom but need to delete two...

This is the 1928-1935 Mickey Mouse so somewhere in that time period. It is not unusual to find 100 year old enamelware. It usually has some sort of swirl pattern.

I thought the same thing about wabi sabi - I love the patina and distress. I have looked around and I cannot find a photo of anything even close to resembling this online. The seller said it was enamelware but upon further inspection I think it may not be enamelware. I am thinking it is "beetleware" which is basically early melamine. Post cereal had some promo bowls that this might match. But there are no stamps anywhere to indicate manufacturer, date etc. It flexes around the crack (which is open) so I think it is early plastic. Any other thoughts?

I like the way it looks I’d like to see the bottom of it also

New photos added (had to delete a couple). I am so perplexed as it is heavy enough to be enamelware but it doesn't sound like porcelain.... the cracks have texture to them, so they are real, but the crackled finish looks like a print aesthetic on the bottom... almost like this is a highly detailed reproductions of something... so odd...
