    Similar to one that was just posted here recently. I took a leap of faith and plugged it in! Amazing how simple things were at one time. Today it would have several safety overrides and could be controlled from your phone!

      While you've got it plugged up, don't forget to also go look at how fast it makes your *electric meter* spin...?!! <whe-e-e-e-e-e> ;-) :-)

      I've never had a problem with these. They seem to be entirely safe. It's just a cord leading to a porcelain socket with an element in it. The only danger is the dust and grime on it!

      Yes, very simple and well built compared to what we buy today. I might just check the current draw and see how it compares to a new ceramic heater. Maybe it has the wattage listed on it. I'll have to look.
