From all of my research, The best I can come up with is, this is a bronze cigar ( cigarette) cutter. The bronze portion has what appears to be a hound dog tracking a rabbit. The cutter part has a logo on it that I believe to be Zwilling J.A. Henckels. Total length is 6". I am curious as to how old or any other input anyone has on this. Thank you , Scott

You are correct on the mark. Zwilling means twin(s). They also have a mark with only one twin. The two means made in Germany and the single twin would be made in Mexico. Some of their cutlery work was farmed out to Mexico but I don't recall when. There are archives on the Internet although some need translation. I have some of their knives that are fairly old but not worth a great deal because they are common. This item might be worthy of doing research on because it would be less common than their line of cutlery.

What a great piece Scott! Could let us know the size of it! Love the Hound and Rabbit, and like fhrjr2, says a little research could payoff! Thanks for showing! :^)
