    This is a flea market find from Avon NY. I have had no luck finding any information on the piece; it is beautifully chased all over the entire piece, it has dome head rivets on all side, there are styleized dragons on each side & some sort of a symbol as the center piece on each side. It is about 6 x 6 x 4" all hand crafted from Brass or Copper. Amaizingly enough it does not have any leaks.
    I would love to have any information anyone would be able to share.

      The symbol, a mon, is used like a family identifier, for individuals, or companies. Here is a list showing most of the mon (in Japanese) you could browse and look for it:
