    Hello All!
I purchased this the other day, it's a beautiful piece in great condition. It stands about 9" inches high, has applied handles and is a lovely green color with gold decoration. I didn't see the mark right off, it's a very small gold H, just in the middle of the bottom. Any idea who the maker might be? I've been looking at a lot of similarly decorated green glass vases, but the mark isn't like any I've seen.
Thanks for taking a look and for any likes, loves, or information.
    Tony.

      Hi,
this might possibly be a 'Early Loetz' vase, the signature not being a 'H', but a roman one 'I', usually Loetz added a arabic number, but this might have been washed away or actually there was none.

Hello kairomalte, Thank You for the comment. I think you're right about the letter mark being an "I" and not an "H", the shape wasn't quite convincing as an "H", and by simply turning it I recognized it more clearly as an "I",....Thank You for suggesting another way to see it. I looked for traces of a faded number, but it doesn't look like there was another mark.
Would it be safe for me to assume that it is an early Loetz piece?, by shape, color, and decoration? I was hoping it was just that when I first found it, but the mark, as I was seeing it, didn't make sense. Sorry to bother you, and Thank You again for your help,
      Tony.

      Hi,
with respect to no additional remains of a true Loetz Dek number, I wouldn't assign your vase to be made by Loetz but possibly to some Bohemian maker.
