I'm absolutely *certain* this is nowhere near the total number of similar such openers I actually own, just a handful that was convenient to collect for pics here, now....? ;-) <lol>
They're all made of stamped/plated steel with assorted rusty spots/etc to show their age, forxactly how old that might be for any one of 'em I don't know. Suggestions/clues are WELCOMED, should any of y'all be able to shed further light on any one or the other?!! :-) :-)
[1st 2 pics show their topsides, 2nd 2 pics show the undersides but rotated 90 degrees, the rest of this description based on the topside pics]
The five in the center are all beer brands: MEISTER BRAU, TIVOLI, PABST BLUE RIBBON, CARLING'S RED CAP ALE, and SCHLITZ.
Surrounding them [starting on RH side, clockwise] are a nifty CANADA DRY bottle (only) opener, KESSLER'S BLENDED WHISKY with attached small corkscrew, STIHL ENGINE OIL (this one obviously probably intended to open a container full of an entirely different sort of liquid) and a likely common COCA-COLA bottle opener.
The PBR is the largest at ~4-3/4" long...the KESSLER'S the smallest at ~3".
I just found one in the junk drawer that I have never seen and don't know what one side of it is for. I never thought of posting it here but I will. Maybe someone has seen the same. This one has hook type things on the back side of it.
THANKS MUCH to Vynil33rpm, keramikos, Brunswick, fhrjr2, purvis, fortapache, officialfuel, blunderbuss2, yougottahavestuff, billretirecoll, & EJW-54 for your comments and <love it>s and also looking fwd to seeing your "odd one" fhrjr2?!! :-)
