    My Summer mailbox with a license plate and bracket. Mailbox was patented 1899 Bates & Hawley my address is 165 Liberty St. So the plate and Jeep bracket work's perfectly!!!! I put it in the spring!!! US Mail door flips up for letters. I didn't know how to "POST" it???
    Signal Mail Box Co. maybe they made Police and Fire call boxes too??

      I love it. Years ago I collected license plates. My buddy had a 1926 Essex and I had a 1926 license plate with his three initials on it. The car and plate went well together even though he put a 350 engine in it. I like the way your plate fits in.

      Pretty neat! This is the first cast iron door mailbox I've ever seen. Is that an insulator being used for the knob?
