Another PCC item this is a rather tiny film strip projector. It is 6 inches from the back of the base to the tip of the lens and 5 inches tall. As the title state it is a SVE Pictural Projector Model M Film Strip Projector.
I have not tested this to see if it works, the cord is a bit old and I don't have any film strips anyway. But it is an interesting little projector to add to my film and camera collection.
My search for information came up with nothing . I would make a guess as to when it is from but then people would take that as written in stone. You know what Abraham Lincoln said about the internet.

Pretty cool looking projector! I remember, during elementary school, the nuns used to show us film strips. This is the smallest film strip projector I've ever seen.

Thank you very much Scott. I remember I liked film strips better than a lecture.

Looks similar to the ones I remember in elementary. A strip was more fun than a lecture for sure, but rarer.

Oh wow, this puppy is old! Old and very cool. And by the way, by PCC, are you talking about Pasadena City College? I sold there for years and miss is so much, especially all my vendor friends. I loved all my customers too. Awe...miss them all. That's a lot of hard work, setting up, selling, packing up putting it back but I sure do miss it!!!

Thank you very much shareurpassion. Yes PCC is Pasadena City College. It was my 2nd visit there. Only place to go with all the rain.

Hi the more I'm on CW the more I find things I have or had!! The projector I may have was like yours. It had porn film strips from the 40' 50's in a box. Will try to remember where this packrat put it!!
    9. yougottahavestuff yougottahavestuff, 6 years ago
Found it!!Not the box and only one film strip. Posted it.
