    We found this with some old US coins that my father had collected. It appears to be gold. We have looked and haven't been able to find anything out about it.

      Kjhoran, Thank you so much for providing your expertise on coins, no matter how old the post is.

      I tend to feel a weary despair whenever somebody does an Internet search, stumbles on an old post of some non-rare coin here, and creates an account just so that they can comment, "I have one just like that! What's it worth?!"

      they probably want to represent end philip 2 or early philip 3 coin , but you better asked Kjoran , he is the expert on this , and he digs very deep as you have seen
