Just a quick note that all Mini-Planes came in 4" x 4" box like this. That is until they switched to the cards as seen on last week's P-38 Lightning. Anyway the Wright Brother's Flyer came in a box like this as did the 747 so scale was all over the place. Generally it worked best for planes like these, about the size of a fighter plane.
The Stuka is one of the most iconic planes of WWII. Was the big bully on the block until the Battle of Britain. The single .30 cal machine gun in the rear did not impress the British pilots who had eight .30 cal machine guns. After that it was restricted to the eastern front
This is the G Model which had the two 37 mm cannon pods under the wings which was used for tank busting. The first of these was flown by famed Stuka Ace Hans Rudel who played a part in designing the G Model. Not quite sure if he busted as many tanks as is claimed as they couldn't do battle damage assessment aside from gun camera footage.
The model is very well detailed. Has nice touches such as the strut supports on the tail wings. along with the 37 mm cannons and the landing gear. Also I like the paint and decals on this one.
Nicely detailed little plane!
Like these Bachmann's. Good model of the tank buster version. The Stuka looks mean, WW II icon.
Thank you very much Scott.
Thank you very much Toyrebel. It has an evil look to it.
