Byzantine Perfume Bottle

The manufacturing characteristics (blown into mold, thin, trumpet-like lip, applied strings of glass, and even shade/colour) suggest an earlier make (like 200s C.E. to 300s C.E.) and would suggest it is Roman in origin, but the shape looks more like early Islamic (in which I'd safely put the date of 700s C.E. or newer on it). Perhaps, then, it is Byzantine, which fits in the earlier date range and would give it an age of up to 1,700 years. The Byzantines seem to have combined techniques from both the Roman and Islamic empires.
While finishing it off, the makers managed to apply a bit too much pressure to the top, which caused the angle in the neck.
The bottle exhibits uneven and light environmental degradation, but the soda-lime had leached out of one portion completely (glass batches were typically unevenly mixed, so some areas will have more soda-lime, and some more silicates), so it left behind a silvery silicate structure that crumbles when pressure is applied. Basically, glass does rot in acidic environments.
