    I inherited these chairs. One is marked as a Stephen A. Adams. The other is not. I actually like the lower chair for looks.

    If it is not of value I would like to keep it The other one I will probably have to sell. Does anyone recognize.

      Timeless chairs!

      Both examples appear to be modern made, 20th century examples. Not huge ticket items but desirable.

      I was able to easy research and have now removed the pics was worth over $1000 (so that is a big ticket to me). This one appears to be older and is not stamped. Doesn’t appear to be modern made. See close ups. Thanks scott.

      Hi ref the ADAMS chair you probably found this already but just in case...
      Sorry...but you will have to copy the URL into Google..! refers to Adams making furniture 18th/early 19th century.
