Here is a 7 1-2" aqua glass tomahawk with sculpted warrior chief head on the blade part, from Degenhart Glass (1947-1978). This came in several colors including purple, which I unfortunately broke :(

Don't you hate that?! Breaking something you really loved?! :/
This little glass axe is a rather unusual piece, its quiet ominous actually trying to imagine this being thrown through the air and what a pretty blue blur THAT would make!! :P
Even small, this little tomahawk makes for certainly a deadly eye-catching piece.
Very unique piece! That color is really pretty-to bad the other was broken :(
Very cool glass piece! Too bad about the purple one.
Oh Jenni, sorry to here about you breaking the Purple one, this one is very nice though, I've never seen one until now. I have a couple EAPG ones with Sayings on them, from different companies, but yours is the nicest! :^)
It's such a sweet, lovely color, I was hoping you were going to say it was a Peace Pipe instead of a hatchet!
Thanks Watchsearcher for the cool comment, you know looking at this piece again, if it didn't have the blade & they put feathers there it could have easily been a peace pipe! Guess Degenhart was going for something more dramatic lol
Many thanx Sean for the kind love, you are always in my corner and it's so greatly appreciated :)
Glad you liked this GeodeJem, thank you very much
Newfld, thanks for addressing my comment that it looks like a peace pipe to me.
I didn't think my imagination was running away with me, so I did a quick Google image search of American Indian peace pipes and found many that have the blade and pipe together.
I like the message that the blade/peace pipe together would have had to the parties (former enemies, now friends) smoking it.
Cool Watchsearcher to learn the peace pipes had hatchets, perhaps this original design WAS meant to be a peace pipe, but over time it is always called a tomahawk - I totally agree, think it is a wonderful message of the Old West enemies coming together as friends :)
Many thanks clockerman and Pascale for the very thoughtful love, I am glad you liked this kinda different piece
