    Found this very interesting frame with a painting. Not sure when this was made. Looks like an old oil painting. I took the painting out of the frame very carefully to look to see if I could find a name of an artist. H = 30 inches. W = 2 foot. D = 2 inches. I will do a second post to show more information. Anyone know the name of the possible artist?

      That label looks a bit new.

      The label tells the name of an earlier owner. Not the artist. The frame is Rococo revival. 2nd half of 19th century.

      Looked in Google translation and....... "ce cadre lui appartient" kinda means "this frame belongs to him" - So I do not this that is the artist but the owner

      Try to see if any artist name on it -- or is that a picture of some old famous ?person

      antiquerose found a name on the bottom right hand corner of the painting but can't make out the name.
