Here's the start of a (maybe) little series of odd little signs & etc. that *have* actually made it out of my various piles and boxes o'crap where they now help decorate a small wall in my home otherwise too cluttered with randomly mounted immovable things (light switches, telephone nook, yada yada) to be able to display anything much larger. ;-) My glass telephone booth sign (shown a couple yrs ago) is also on this wall so it more technically is the 1st in the 'series' but I'm not gonna fuss about that detail... <shrug>

ANYWAYS. This was probably first a sign meant to be affixed to a restroom door at a ZEPHYR gas station; by the time I "obtained" it (<ahem> back in the late 1970's) it had found further usage as an overly large men's room door keychain. [so's to be difficult to 'carry away unintentionally'...but maybe not so much if otherwise 'carried away'...? <wink><giggle>]
It is double-sided and measures 7-1/2" x 4-1/2", made of a ~1/8" thick non-flexible white plastic with the same logo screen printed (?) on both sides. Originally with brass-grommeted holes at two opposite corners, one has now been broken off, as it was when it came to me. I'll guess it is of late 1960's vintage at first, based solely on the time frame of when it became a part of my "collections"... :-)
