Refinished Martin Maier antique trunk two tone oak slat. I only hand refinished with steel wool and stripper as I prefer my trunks to look a little aged (and I lack patience). Nice coating of tung oil, black slats stained with ebony stain. Works of art from a bygone era..

I like that you did let it have an aged look. I recently refinished the cabinet and base for my 100 year old Singer treadle machine. I didn't want it to look new, just better. As always, you did a wonderful job. Can't wait to see your next project!
