Welz vases on ribbed ball feet come in many guises. However fan vases on ribbed ball feet are in much shorter supply. I feel very lucky to have found these. The seller called them 'scarce', saying he'd only found one other, a pink one! However there are at least two, inky also has a pink one.
These yellow ones are slightly different in size and one a deeper yellow than the other. The clear glass at the base looks to have a gold iridescence but actually its just a reflection of the yellow above.

How I enjoy this quirky design! This is a very sweet example. I have a three ball fan vase in mythical Welz Burmese...crazy thing it is!

I would add that the group shot is fabulous, and shows a nice variety of Welz production on a great assortment of pretty distinctive shapes by them.

I too like group shots as they show how the company used the same mould, not only with different colours, different spatters but with different applications, or no applications, too.
