Spear?? Was given to me many years ago by a now deceased friend who made it. He was into replica weapons for reenactments. I forgot what he told me about it??? I was going to display it in the shop but I had second thoughts!! Too dangerous with kids around!!! Saw fortapaches battle axe and remembered it being in the corner of the closet for over 20 years! I believe it's too short for a pike. It's 5 feet long.

I am wondering what the ring is for. A harpoon maybe? Looks cool.
I can't figure out what that ring is for. Otherwise it looks like a multi purpose spear for thrusting or throwing. Not a boar spear as it doesn't have wings behind the blade to ensure your enemy doesn't get too close to you when he gets it...
Thanks all for the Loves and Comments!!! I wondered about the ring too??? Spear doesn't have a barb so harpoon doesn't seem to fit??? Wish my friend Gil was still around so I could ask him.
