This poster and other similar ones would have been displayed in aircraft factories to motivate the workforce. Like many of the posters of the time it reinforces how important it is for everyone to do their bit - even the lowly factory working making instruments and dials for the aircraft is having a direct effect on the war 100s of miles away.
"glorious combat" ! Authored by somebody who has never been shot at. LOL !
