Another of the interesting Steve Scout playsets. This one is a weather station made out of an old tree. Not quite sure how they got a working radar but OK. The tree is my favorite part of this set as it comes in handy as a prop for action figures. The radar scope can be seen in photo #4 along with the radio and telegraph key. I also like the stool made out of a tree round. Also makes a handy prop.
The set also comes with a comic. In the comic the radio and telegraph are not working so they decide to use the signal flags to warn of the impending storm. Special guest star Action Boy from the Ideal Captain Action series is holding the flags.
I m,ay do a part 2 to this post as there are a few pieces I left out.

I like this series. It's obscure(I love toys off the beaten path), Scout based and the figures/uniforms/accessories seem to be well made. I amazed at how many different sets you've shared, I thought they made a few. This was a toy a little past my era. I remember seeing ads(comic books?), but I don't think I ever saw any actual stuff on the shelfs. I learned semaphore in the Scouts at Camp Tucabatchee for my communication part of getting Secind Class so I can relate to the flags also. They have tree radar now, it's ground penetrating to check roots. Steve's troop evidently was pretty advanced and ahead of his time. Did Steve have the Radar Merit Badge?

That is a really cool, detailed set.
I would have to guess these were not cheap in their day? Even less now too.

      Thank you very much Scott.

Thank you very much Toyrebel. I think I have posted most of the sets. Still have the boxed figures to post.
Sadly Steve didn't come with merit badges. Should have had more stickers.

      Thank you very much elanski.

Thank you very much racer4four. Don't think these were too expensive. GI joe was expensive.

Thank you very much Thomas. Weather stone is dark so it is night.
