A very beautiful art glass shade by Steuben although unsigned this shape is documented in Gardeners book pg. 221 shape 2234. The shade is 4.5” tall and 5” wide. Colors have not been enhanced.

Shape 2234 is ribbed and does not show the crimping around the bottom of the shade.
My line drawing in gardeners book definitely indicates a crimp or scalloped edge. Thanks for viewing and the comment. Randy
You are correct Randy in that the line drawing in Gardner shows something done to the edge, however it is not a crimp, it is a scalloped edge that runs like an arch between the ribs that should be found on the shade, which this example does not show.
