The décor of this vase is a red and grey spatter on a clear ground. Like similar ones I'd say it was moulded but the forming of the top was done by hand. The knuckle tops make them seem enormous. This one differs in that the top rim is six sided but not a regular hexagon. In the light of the rims I'll leave it to you whether they are Spatter glass or Tango glass!
Height 26 cm./10 inches Max. Width 15 cm./6 inches
Peggy, this reminds me of crushed Candy Cane Ice Cream topping . . . Sweet! :^D Thanks for showing! :^)
Thank you, bill, sounds delish. Not being au fait with American ice cream toppings I'll have to take your word for it :)
As I understand Tango glass the three conditions need to be met : a plain and bright colour and a black/dark rim,so I'd say this is Spatter.Anyway they are amazing,no matter how we call them.
I agree with that Ivonne though others differ.
Me too. I'm having trouble accepting "Spatter" as "Tango" - Tango-era using Tango colors maybe, but not Tango in my mind.
