I found this a few months ago, a Royal Doulton Falstaff Figurine, and the price was right, so I bought it. When I saw the Falstaff Beer Trays posted in Show & Tell, it reminded me about this Figurine, so wanted to post it.
There's a lot of these available at a wide range of prices, with many different marks on the bottom. I think that this one is an earlier made piece, but they were made from 1950-1992, and I guess the later made ones were made in China, but I really could find out how to date it, so if you know, I would appreciate finding out how to date them! :^D
The Figurine of the fictitious Charles Dickins Character Falstaff is 7 1/4" tall, 4 1/4" wide, and a depth of 3" it's marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton Mark, Made In England, Falstaff, H.N. 2054, COPR. 1949, Doulton & Co Limited and a small green Decorators mark.
