This is a Hubley Telephone Truck #482. It was cataloged in '51-'52 and has a trailer with a telephone pole.
It has #475 on the chassis, it was used on the #475 dump truck and several other trucks. It has a plastic cab and metal rear body. They had #478 Telephone Truck that has the same rear body but had a '46 Ford cab cataloged in '49-'50. Both of these had the "A" shaped boom. In '53 they cataloged the #478 with a "Y" shaped boom. It's about 12 1/2" long with the trailer, not counting the pole length. It's in good shape with the original boom string/hook and all 3 of the digging/tamping tools.
Thanks,
Bill
Very cool toy man ,,,, with difficult to find implements
That is another great piece. Is it original condition or restored?
Thanks vinyl, it's complete, I'm pretty sure that's the original pole, it has a great old patina.
Thank you Apache, it is all original, you can tell because the paint matches plastic color so close. Minimum paint wear. Well cared for evidently. The bottom chassis is bare metal and incredibly shiny.

Have you been alright through all those lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely nights."
