We found this cool Coke sign in Gering Nebraska while hunting Gas/Oil signs. Even tho it’s got lots of signs of wear and tear it still stands out on a wall and will look great in the new Lakeside Museum in Provo Ut. It’s hard to find good stuff in small towns and the distance between towns is pretty big to be very fruitful, but it’s still a lot of fun when you find something useful. I love Pickin!
Merry Christmas to all of you!

Seeing your truck going down the highway probably broke up the boredom and sparked a lot of conversation in other vehicles!

      WatchSearcher,
Interesting thoughts u have. I also wonder why more people don’t seem to have any interest in the magnificent Gypsie loads of stuff we haul across the Planet. It is very rare when anyone ever asks about our loads even when we are stopped to fuel up. They don’t even really look at the loads most of the time. Guess people are just interested in their own lives and stuck in their boxes? Whatever the reasons, people just don’t seem very curious from what we have seen and I do this quite a lot.

Rattletrap, I often wonder very similar thoughts about how so many folks out there in the world now otherwise appear to be so kinda oblivious to whatever crazy curious (for any odd reason) thing that is right in front of their very eyes at whatever moment in time it is. Yes, of course, our current world/etc is kinda a h*ll of a mess in its own right, but there's *still* an awful lot of way cool crap out there in it to look at too -- a truckload of vintage signs on the interstate, a pretty view across a hilltop on some random country highway when the sun is just right, some little sparkly glass thing on a junk shop shelf, or whaddever...

Happy 2020 to you and yours, Sir, from me (Tim) who's still hoping to find some reason eventually to get my own truck out to Provo, just to see and enjoy *your* collections with my own eyes!!!
