This Standard Oil ladies restroom torch from the 1940’s is a tough one to find in any condition. I found this last night in Indiana and got it home and hung it in my collection. I never use the word rare because someone always has one somewhere, but I will say it’s a tough one to fine in any condition. A lot of people have never seen one of these. I put a new LED bulb in the top but I didn’t put one in the bottom because it shows too many imperfections. It’s not perfect but I’m happy how it looks in my collection. Thank you all that stop by and comment, like or love my things. Enjoy your day!! :-)

I’m old and remember the 40s pretty well as that’s when I bought my first Red Rider BB gun and became such a menace to about anything that would break. Unfortunately I don’t remember seeing those cool restroom flames. U scored big time once again. Happy New Year.

Love this. Great find. One to treasure.
Weird thought Michael, when looking at this again. Mebbe you should try something more like a 'night light' bulb in the lower section -- just enough to light it up a little without showing flaws so much...something along the lines of 5-15w (incandescent) if you can find any such near you these days??
I was frustrated recently when going to [name deleted] 'home store' to get a couple more 15w frosted incandescents for my nightstand lamps by the bed. Apparently those have now become part of the next round of our govt's further 'war against incandescent lightbulbs'...the closest I could find were 11w 'sign bulbs'.
