I am a bit under the weather thus found something in the archives for tonight's post. This is from a calendar put out by Young Department Store of Mattoon Illinois. More likely it was a calendar they put their name on. In the long ago calendar like that were common. The older ones had one picture and the month would be removed to reveal the new month. This is the calendar type that followed with a new picture for every month. Now you just look at your phone or smart watch or access the chip implant (coming in the future). Anyway these are classic images from the 1960s.
Hopefully next week will be another uniform if all goes according to plan.

I love that you collect things like this and I remember being a 4H member when I was young and even participating in a parade in a near city during one of their fair days. These boys would have done the same and I love the building fire part of the ad which would have appealed to all young boys !~

They don't look to be too sure what to do with that breakfast.

I think they are having a blessing before that meager looking meal......maybe praying for better food in larger quantity. :^)

Thank you very much Phil. Very glad you like these.

Thank you very much elanski. They may have made it themselves and are wondering if they should eat it.

Thank you very much Watchsearcher. They may be pondering if if it is worth the merit badge to eat it.
