A very pretty rusty pink c1885 Early Loetz glass vase.
The enamelling is perfect and nicely done, each little dots in the feathery foliage has been circled/framed with gold paint, impossible to see unless using a loop.
In Dr. Hasselbach's article in Early Loetz article, on Loetz.com he describes this colour “a precursor of the later well-known Loetz 'Alpenrot' décor”...
The example shown in his article has a blue inner layer giving the colour a slightly different look to mine which has a white inner layer,
Approx...9.1/2 inches tall.
The shape is...woooooooderful!...and I love it.
