Here's the exciting Disneykins item I promised a couple weeks ago. It is TV Scenes with Pinocchio and Cleo. This is a nice one as it has two characters instead of a character and a piece of scenery. The Disneykins were started in 1961 along with many other small figure lines. These were made in Hong Kong instead of the US where all the other Marx toys were made. These were advertised as hand painted but of course they used spray paint along with a mask so it wasn't exactly someone with a brush.
I have a number of these sets and one thing I find amazing is that the figures are still glued to the base. If I had them I would have removed them to play with them. A lot of kids probably did that and then threw away the box. These are still quite affordable. Usually about $25 om the Bay of e. Please note I am not selling any of these.
Coming up tomorrow is something but I haven't decided what yet.
Pinocchio appears often in our political reporting lately, so this is very apt.
Thank you very much racer4four. Yes many Pinocchio's.
Thank you very much valentino97. Glad you like them.
I have a collection of these Disney Kin Marx TV Disney characters in boxes. Where might I find interested vintage Disney collectors? Many thanks
