Huge trunk 39" x 20" x 23"... Metal seems to have faux woodgrain finish??? Please if anyone knows what it is... I must know!!

I have seen the painted wood grain before here is a snip-it from this old trunk for the few painted wood grain patterns.

I really appreciate it, thanks so much!! What a neat surprise, wasn't expecting to find anything original much less that detailed, covered in so much dirt and rust.
