Very cool! I transcribe a lot of early written handwriting as part of several hobbies and this is tough. You probably already made out "N.S. ?ouded". I can't tell if the ? is one or two letters. There are examples of the capital letters W, O, R, S, T, D, N, K, C, A, P, Q, F and I on the label and this does not resemble any of them. Might be an "H" with part of the letter missing.... I would focus on the other letters which don't have an example to compare to.... Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I believe it says “U.S. Bonded Warehouse”, with especially sloppy handwriting. Fascinating bottle though. If only it were still full!

The neck label is an interesting relic of the WWI era indicating that the bottle is sealed with a paper strip as the customary lead foil seal was unavailable due to the war.

Hey CollectorPaul, nice piece. I wonder how many are left today? I would love to own one, if you come across any others like it, or any of the Old Ripy bottles, please reach out to me! Bcamp5050@gmail.com

interesting! many years ago, a friend found a full bottle of 19h c whiskey in his barn. we opened it and drank some for Christmas - probably around 40 years ago. it was very smooth and yummy!
