Not as cool as a pedal car but it was only $15. This is a Murray tricycle I am thinking is from around the late 1960s. It has sxhwinn handgrips and I think the pedals may have been replaced too. AQlso it has be repainted but that paint is wearing off but that juat adds to the appearence I think. Looks like it was orignally blue. The solid rubber tires have those splits that rubber wheel tires have but that just adds to it too.
If I recall correctly another toddler would be riding on one of the steps as the other furishly pedaled about. That is probably forbidden now.
This seems to have the del;uxe padded seat with the padding wearing away and guess what. That adds to the appearence too!
cool score fort...
These always bring back memories of the rumble noise as we kids rode one back and forth on grandma's huge tung and grove porch back around 1960.
Thank you very much Nicefice. Good to know that is what the seat is called.
Thank you very much jossee.
Thank you very much EJW-54. I have a similar memory of my grandmother's large porch, it was just a big slab of concrete. It didn't look so big last time I saw it.
