Beautiful-- but I don't understand how this is a mold used for casting.

      What is the process?

      Thanks.

      Hi Scott
Foundry's save the first casting to make more in a sand impression mold or the original artist made one!! If more are needed. This one has 8c in the back. I have some with soldered studs in the back. The on site foundry auction had hundreds of these pieces. Check my other postings.

Should have spelled out my question better. The lettering (being readable) had me confused-- thought the process may have been something other than sand casting.

      Really nice looking item.
