Sadly I only have one postcard from this fine wax museum. Movieland Wax Museum was a tourist attraction near Knott's Berry Farm which is not far from Disneyland. There were several tourist attractions along a short stretch of road in Buena Park. There was the Japanese Deer Park, Movieland Wax Museum, the Alligator Farm and Knott's Berry Farm.
Having seen a few wax museums Movieland was by far the best. The sets were very intricate and the wax figures quite realistic. Sadly Movieland went of business a few years ago. All that is left is the sign.
As for this scene it seems Vincent Price made his realistic wax figures by dipping them in hot wax. Don't think that would really work but sounds good for a 1950s movie and MST3K.
Thank you very much Thomas. He did the intro for...….
the black widow!
