One of the coolest things we saw when we visited the PASK museum in Klatovy, Czech Republic in December of 2018, were a couple of pieces in their collection that were made by Loetz for Fred Dunn & Co. under the "Pergamon" name. These were vessels executed by Loetz by blowing into decorative metal fittings, allowing the glass to protrude through openings in the metal. Then Aleš Kral posted two more wonderful examples on these very pages recently. The glass in this example is violet with an underneath layer of opal. The deep violet color at the top spreads to opal towards the bottom. The glass has a fire polished rim with a ground and polished pontil. The metal fitting is marked on the base "Germany", "Ges. Gesch.", and "PERGAMON". The jar stands about 10.5" tall to the top of the lid finial.
The metal appears to be silver or some other white metal plate with an interior copper layer.

Fred Dunn & Co. was a regular customer of Loetz until at least July of 1912 ordering mostly pieces made for various metal fittings. Fred Dunn also was the holder of a German Imperial Patent for Pergamon Glas-Kunst, dated 1910. The patent itself has been destroyed, but the Patent brief survived. The entry says "Elektrische Lampe mit Glock für den Schutzschirm (Electric lamp with bell for the protective shade). Pergamon- Glas- Kunst, Fred Dunn & Co., München - 10 3 10"
