I found this old knife in a drawer at my grandfathers house after he passed away. The blade has too much rust to find the makers mark. It has two blades and the thinner blade is locked into place when fully opened by the piece of brass below it. Just looking to find out some history about it if possible and if it’s worth trying to clean up or if it’s best left alone.
Let me put it this way, if you don't clean it then before you know it you won't have a knife. Clean it and you will expose the makers mark and be able to solve the problem without help.
Thanks, makers mark says Ulster Knife USA. Looks like a TL-29w.
Yep Dvinson86, clean it, sharpen it and use it! :^D Was your Grandfather an Electrician? Thanks for showing! :^)

I hope this helps! :^)
billretirecoll If you are referring to the Devine family that owned Ulster at one point, this wasn't made by them. This was made after 1941 when Devine sold the business.
bill the knife in your post is actually the electricians knife which was so popular.
No fhrjr2, Dvinson86 is the person who posted this Knife! The link is for the name and number that they gave after the cleaned the Knife, that's all, and I thought that the Screwdriver Tip had just been sharpened to a point! Thanks though! :^)
