This is an advertising Boy Scout Calendar from 1948. It features a Norman Rockwell painting as most did from that time. This one is Men of Tomorrow.
The calendar is 8" x 14" which is a bit on the small side. There is a different photo for every month and as a free bonus there is information/instruction on the backside. The photos I included here are all from the front side of the calendar. Did not get quite the whole page in photo #2 but I think one gets the idea.
There will probably be a part 2 or 3 whenever I don't have material for another scout post.
Got a few tons of new material to get through a couple/few weeks.
I really enjoy seeing this ephemera.
I'm particularly taken with the last photo of Scouts of the World.
Kilt wearing Scot is great but I'm concerned about the look of the jodhpurs wearing boy. Vincent thinks he may be Polish because of his hat but I'm sure you will know Fort!
Another nice Rockwell, thanks for the share.
Thank you very much racer4four. Jodhpurs were a bit out a fashion I fear but Poland had just had a few rough years.
Thank you very much Toyrebel. I am a sucker for a vintage Rockwell.
