This is the familiar Lines and Spots décor, green aventurine with yellow spots. However, unusually, this example also has iridescence. It is not the same shape as the one I posted just recently. It's less wide at the shoulder and lacks the foot.
Image four shows it beside a vase in the more usual Lines and Spots décor, which incidentally was my first ever Welz piece!
LOVE the colours in this piece so much, such a lovely variation on a familiar decor. The iridescence works so well with the green/yellow combination...& has created an appearance of purple edges around the yellow spots which is just delightfully different!
Much appreciated, IronLace.
Well known lines and spots look much more interesting with the irisation !
I agree, it's a nice twist.
Wow, this one is really different! What a beautiful piece!
Yes, Michelle, different. In fact I'd never seen iridescence on this décor so pleased.
