World War Two Enger-Kress US M3 (or M7) Shoulder Holster For Tankers

It is rather difficult to use a pistol in a belt holster while riding in a vehicle thus the shoulder holster M7 or M3. The M7 had a pad for the strap that may just be missing.. This was for crewmen of armored vehicles and was issued in starting in 1944. Originally they were a rust color but apparently later they were black. Enger-Kress made the WWII holsters and may have kept making them for a bit, not sure how long. These were made for the Colt 1911 A1 .45 pistol. A pistol far better than those .38 snub nose revolvers seen in old movies.
There should be 2 more straps, one across the chest and another that secures it to the belt but is is still usable. I am wearing it now and it works fine.
