From a local store which is having a 50% off closing down sale, this Art Nouveau era vase is one I'd been admiring for a while.
It is made from green glass (with some uranium content, as it does exhibit a green glow under UV light) with an all over Martele type pattern.
The vase measures 22.5 cm tall, 7 cm across the top rim (which has a slightly worn silver plated rim - unmarked), & 7.5 cm across the base.
In excellent condition for its age, & a pleasing addition to my growing Art Nouveau section.
I think it is by Kralik, though other makers produced similar Martele decors.
So pretty!
I love the way the daffodils are all nodding toward it, is if in admiration.
Many thanks, Patricia!
It goes perfectly with your daffodils!!
I think Kralik 'martele' also.
Thanks so much, Michelle!
Thanks also, Bambus 1920!
There is another potential maker Stolze who had a hand blown glass plant in Suchetal, Bohemia, for a short period in early 20th, most of the pieces are this uneven martele decor, in different class colors, but mostly the popular green, cranberry, amethyst and clear crystal.
Here is a link to a few pieces of documentation about them, and their products in this line.

Thanks for posting.
Although this version of Martelé is different from Kralik's, this currently unattributed décor has never been successfully linked to Stolzle production. That is a false and completely unsupportable assertion.
I beg to differ, there are documented illustrations with this martele textured mold, on an otherwise Stolzle type vase, produced in many colors and other decors, mostly smooth and with indentations. I have just posted a fuller documented page.
You can "beg to differ" all you would like. The decor is not in any manner solidly linked to Stolzle. That is simply an undeniable fact.
what happened to the respectful content of CW comments?
I said nothing disrespectful. I simply disagreed with your factually false and unsupportable claim.
I know nothing, except that it's a beautiful Vase! :^D Thank you so much for showing Marin! :^)
Hi Bill, many thanks for your nice comment!
It's like spring in the Mountains!
Gorgeous glass and photo.
Thanks so much, Karen...yes it seems we are having an early spring...will post some more daffodils soon...have grown miniature ones for the first time this year & they are SO adorable!
