Yes I like the rust so it will not be refinished. Looks like it is the original paint as there is no sign of another color or coat of paint. Actually I like the ones with two colors of paint. Some people do that on purpose for the shabby chic look.
I alr4eady had a pair of metal chairs for my deck but they had the skinny legs that get caught between the slats from time to time. As you can see this has legs that won't get stuck between the wooden slats. Also it won't sink into the ground out in the yard. I'll need another for that. Plus I need a table too. Got this at the Long Beach Antique Flea market. Going again this Sunday. Did well last time and we will see how it goes this time.
Almost forgot. This one seems to have some sort of southwest Indian pattern on it such as Navajo. Haven't found a match or any other info but it is quite comfy.

Nice Brian, I grew up with two of this type of Lawn Chair. My Parents got them in the early 1950's, when they bought their first Home, after My Mother Died, we sold the House, and The Chairs went with the Sale, almost could say Helped to Sale! :^D
You mentioned the Southwestern Pattern on the Chairs of yours, did you notice the Letter Opener in my Keith's Sale post? It's got the Arizona State Seal, and the Southwestern Pattern, on it! Thanks for posting! :^D Stay Safe, and Wear a Mask, to Keep Well! :^)

Thank you very much Bill. I missed the letter opener but remember the post so I'll look it up. Yes these chairs look mid century.
I am an essential worker and wear my mask. So safe kind of.
