From an estate sale I mentioned in my previous post, I acquired this black-and-white photographic postcard of the behemoth Graf Zeppelin, leisurely berthed on a Los Angeles airship strip. The dirigible, stabilised by a mooring mast, awaited its capacity of sixty persons--accommodating thirty-six crewmembers and twenty-four civilian passengers.
The opaque text, near the bottom left-hand corner of the postcard, reads the year 1929, preceded by, presumably, the photographer's initials: K.P.S. . By whom this was photographed, though, I have not the slightest idea!
That would make a super cool poster! You could scan it and enlarge it.
