I got this in flarida (correct southern pronunciation) and I dont know if it is real or not. The bottom is weighted and will right itself if pushed over.

Howzabout "Natches" LA...I'd challenge anybody (except maybe Ed) to come up with the correct way that one's actually spelled on the interstate signs...?

Ed and Anything.....what yall sed.....it shore iz:) Phono...you broke my hart:) I paid 20.00 for it so I guess that was a fairly cheap lesson.
Sorry about that. It's still an interesting decorative piece. I don't think $20 for it is crazy money.
Phono.....I declare that I be feelin bettur bout it now. Appreciate you!
As identified it is modern.
Believe it is a fantasy piece and not a reproduction as no original like this existed.

I often choose words poorly.
Thanks EVERYBODY for looking and loving and the comments! I APPRECIATE each and every one of you! I never dreamed in a million years that something like this would be reproduced but it sharpens my eye and causes me to pause and think a-little more before I purchase something. Lesson learned and like Scott said Beauty and value is in the eyes of the beholder and while it does not have value it is special to me and brings pleasure and besides,it will look good with the train layout:) . CW rocks!
Floridie is just a low grade Alabamese.
bb2....I am fluent in both langauges as I have kin in both places:) The Georgia dialect is of course my native langage:)
