I would like to know more about this old coin. I tried to take a good picture but it was very hard. If anyone know anything it would be great to know something.

Not a coin expert but this is what I found..

Paul Revere pine tree penny. Probably a fake, because only 1 is known to exist. Need to get it checked out. Where did you get it?

Okay so this just got interesting...

"Appleton took the legend flanking the trunk of the pine tree on the obverse to be "1C LM" (for 1 cent Lawful Money)--instead of its actual reading, "1d LM," the British symbol for a penny. If you find a copy of the Pine Tree penny, examine it closely to see if it repeats this logical mistake."

I got the coin out of my grandfather old desk, he was a judge in Calumet Park Ill in the 1940's. He also owned Lukas Funeral Home in Calumet Park, Ill.

Well he was a judge first then went to mortuary college when he was 50 years old. So he had the funeral home after being a judge. He died in 1972 and the funeral home was sold in 1986.
