Rolit Knife Grinder
Well here's an interesting tool. When I first found it in Dad's Workshop I wasn't sure what it was. Once I opened it up, I realized it was a knife sharpener. Very unique design.
Nothing too exciting or valuable but a fun piece of tool history. And it still works.
I do not believe that mine is this old however here is an ad from Popular Mechanics July 1949.
I remember one of those in my mom’s kitchen utensil drawer.
That's funny..glad it brought back some memories. Sometimes for me the value of an item isn't monetary. Its a great design and still works good.
