      Hi, Ronnie122500. :-)

Per the International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society (ISMACS) serial number tables (which ISMACS got directly from Singer who now endorses ISMACS through linkage as the official maintainer), serial number AD041588 was one of a block (030626 through 045625) of 15,000 serial numbers allotted to the Elizabethport, New Jersey factory March 18th, 1930, and your sewing machine head should be a model 127:

      *snip*

      AD- 030626 045625 127 15000 March 18 1930

      *snip*

I can tell from details in your first picture (the little trapezoidal access panel, the dual split slide plates, and the high-mounted bobbin winder) that that model seems right, but let's run it through Sandman-Collectibles' Singer Sewing Machine Identification Template just for drill (because as good as they are, the Singer/ISMACS serial number tables are not infallible):

      https://www.sandman-collectibles.com/id-singer-machines.htm

Sandman concurs that it's probably either a model 127 or a model 128:

      About the VS1, VS2, VS3, 27, 28, 127 and 128 family of machines:

      More about the 127/128:

A user manual for the 127/128:

      About the Elizabethport factory:

I can't seem to find a picture and name for your decal set at either ISMACS or singersewinginfo dot co dot uk, so you might want to consider offering pictures to them. :-)

Your cabinet looks like Cabinet Table No. 2:

It’s nice you got a wooden spool of thread in the deal....I think they are very special to have!

Cool machine. My last name starts with an S, so I have one of the Singer S emblems hanging in my garage.
